Dropping the Ball

This is guaranteed to waste some time, annoy some people, and amuse you to death. Thanks, Matt, for the tip.

Chick it Out

Via Married to the Sea.

Is there anything lovelier...

than a fresh bundle of flowers wrapped up in paper?

Congratulations, Tom, on a semester very well done.

Little Spike Rickeman

So I was stalking a pregnant friend-of-a-friend on Facebook (yes, that does sound creepy) and she had a photo of her future spawn from this site makemebabies.com. I knew immediately what I was going to do for the rest of the evening. It ended up bringing tears to my eyes for two reasons: First, I laughed so hard I cried. Second, I decided to never have children for obvious reasons, which made me sad thinking of all the jokes other little kids will never get to make about our kid's enormous forehead.

By the way, how much does this website remind you of Mommy, What Will I Look Like? from Arrested Development?

T-Money Calling

I can't believe this commercial exists, but I love it. My neighbors said they (brilliantly) air this a lot during "Cheaters."

Tilden Park

Today, Thomas and I went to Tilden Park. It's only about 5 minutes from our house, but it's so different that it felt like we went on a little vacation. There's a little zoo and a vintage merry-go-round and so many beautiful trails. I am really, really looking forward to the summer, when we can go swimming in Lake Anza. There's even a sandy beach! I can't wait.

"Oh, hey!"

Goat, chillaxing.

Bovine bouffant.

Super unhelpful sign. Tom and I assume it meant that if you are a cluster of trees or a bird, you go forward. If you are a single tree or a bushy single tree tree, go to the right.

Eucalyptus trees have such lovely bark.

Jewel Lake.

Time Enough at Last

Pardon me, ma'am. Do you have the time?

Why yes, I do...

It's time for more LIP GLOSS!

The Joy Formidable- Cradle

This music video is so cute and the song is so fantastically catchy that I'm seriously contemplating putting down the £10.50 to own my very own copy. I just want to dance around like a giddy school girl when I hear this, but I am sure my neighbors would appreciate if I refrained. I dare you to try to not tap your toes or sway around like a hipster buffoon when you listen to this gem!
It won't be easy-- prometo.
