The Artful Dodgers

A week or two ago, Tom and I were invited to go to a Dodgers game by a very generous Latham & Watkins associate. Our seats were in the "Dugout Club" which means that we had sweet seats and, arguably more importantly, unlimited food. I ate until I could eat no more and then I took two bags of Cracker Jacks for the road. The Dodgers lost, the stadium caught fire, and a broken bat nearly impaled us... but did I mention the unlimited food? All in all, it couldn't have gone better.

Palm Desert/ Palm Springs

So now we're in Santa Monica for the summer and so far it's been a whirlwind and a blast. A couple of days ago I went with one of my favorite people, K.G., to Palm Desert. We had a bangarang time and didn't even get burned. It was great. Here are some pictures of things that took place.

The lovely balcony overlooking downtown Palm Springs where we ate dinner.

After dinner we spent a couple of hours wandering around the Palm Springs Street Fair. I summoned fire because the desert was not warm enough already.

This guy was amazing. He brought his own amplification, colored lights and wind machine in addition to the standard kilt and headband.

Kake and her hero.

Dinosaur/insect/shark/Egyptian deity soap.

Back in Palm Desert.

I was earnestly so excited to stop at the Cabazon dinosaurs.

It was so windy.

Wild West Shootout

On Saturday, Tom and I were asked to participate in a photo shoot at Paramount Ranch (which is awesome) along with these lovely people pictured. From what I've seen so far, the results look amazing and reflect the incredible talent of the team who set up the shoot. There are more photos at the photographer's website. Thank you, Jason, for including us! More photos to come, I'm sure.
